Preventive boil water advisory for part of the Masson-Angers sector
Gatineau, October 27, 2020. – Ville de Gatineau is issuing a preventive boil water advisory for approximately 250 residences in part of the Masson-Angers sector. This preventive boil water advisory is being issued due to the replacement of a valve on Rue Du Caire between Chemin de Montréal and Rue d'Arizona. The advisory is in effect until further notice.

The advisory is being issued following an interruption in the water supply within the delineated perimeter. This interruption affects approximately 250 residences.

If you are in the area affected by the boil water advisory

Affected residents and institutions must boil their water for one minute before consuming it.

Please continue to do so until Gatineau lifts the preventive boil water advisory.
●
After the preventive boil water advisory is lifted: - open all cold water taps and let the water run for one minute or until it is cold, and do the same for all water fountains; and - toss out any ice made with tap water during the advisory.
