Municipal aquatic facilities to reopen in Gatineau

Gatineau, September 3, 2021. – Ville de Gatineau is�hereby informing the public that its aquatic facilities are ready to reopen.

Quick facts

●	Based on the epidemiological investigation conducted by Sant� publique, pools and beaches can reopen as of Sunday, September 5.

●	The public is reminded that the source of the virus was outside of work. In light of the sanitary measures applied in the workplace, Sant� publique deems that the risk to the public is very low.

Indoor pools

●	As of 4 p.m. today, residents can book a swim slot on the Citizen Portal.

●	There will not be any public swimming from Tuesday to Friday, September 7 to 10, at the Centre sportif due to maintenance work.

●	Vaccine passports and valid ID are mandatory for anyone aged 13 or over as of September 1.

Beaches

●	The parc des C�dres and parc Moussette beaches will be open as usual.

●	Given the weather forecast, it is recommended that residents check the municipal website before heading over.

●	The Lac-Beauchamp beach is closed for the season.
