The waste collections planned this week will be completed Saturday
Gatineau, July 5, 2019. – The regular collections, as well as special removals planned this week, are late in all sectors of the City. Please note that all collections will be completed Saturday, July 6. The City is pursuing steps with the provider in order to find permanent solutions to this situation. Quick facts
● | Residents are asked to leave their waste curbside until the removal. |
● | For the time being, the special collections planned during the week of July 8 are maintained. |
Ecocentres and waste transfer centre ● | Between special collections, residents can still bring their bulky waste free of charge to the waste transfer centre, which is also open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. |
● | Construction waste can also be brought to the ecocentres free of charge. On Saturdays and Sundays, the ecocentres are open from 10 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. |
● | Given the removal delay, the Hull waste transfer centre could be busier than usual. Therefore, the City is asking residents to bring their construction waste to the Airpark ecocentre. - As a reminder, bulky waste is not accepted at the Airpark ecocentre.
