Spring flood: Gatineau opens a donations centre in the Aylmer sector to help the flood victims

Gatineau, May 3, 2019. – Ville de Gatineau, in collaboration with its partners, will open a donations centre in the Aylmer sector Saturday morning to help the flood victims. The centre will be located at Galeries d'Aylmer (181, rue Principale). The entrance is at the back of the commercial centre near the Dollarama.


Quick facts

It's the second donations centre. The first one is still open at the Promenades Gatineau.
The donations centre will be open for the weekend only, Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
For the time being, only the following donations will be accepted:
- non-perishable food;
- personal hygiene products; and
- cleaning products.
This collection of donations is being organized with our partners Moisson Outaouais and Saint-Vincent de Paul.
Residents wishing to donate money can do so through the Red Cross.
Businesses wishing to donate should contact Gatineau's Service des approvisionnements at 819-243-2315
Gatineau thanks residents who will be donating items and have donated their time.
